Meetings and Activities
CACDA Board of Directors meetings are open to the public. They are held every third Wednesday of the month, 7:00 pm, at the Brewster Inn. There are currently four separate committees working on projects and meeting on a regular basis: Business Development, Agriculture & Farmland Protection, Cazenovia Lake, and Infrastructure. Community Dialogues The Cazenovia Area Community Development Association (CACDA) was pleased to host our second “Community Dialogues,” on Feb. 24, 2009, at 7:00 pm in the Cazenovia College McDonald Lecture Hall. The Community Dialogues series provides an opportunity for communication among the many diverse constituencies that comprise our community. This event focused on how our various community organizations can work together more cooperatively and effectively. CACDA is developing several events with the specific purpose of receiving input from a range of community groups. We want to hear – and we want others to hear – what your mission and goals are, what ideas you have for projects, and what needs you have for pursuing your objectives. Each event will begin with brief presentations from several organizations, and will encourage a wide-ranging discussion among all those present. Please let us know if you would be willing to present an overview of your organizational history, purpose, and activities at a future event by contacting Barbara Henderson, Executive Director, at director@cacda.net or 655-7651.
